Call for Entries

Deadline to enter EXTENDED: May 2, 2019

CWCMA, NICE and TCMA seek your participation in the 2019 Great Western Audience Development Summit Annual Awards Contest. In keeping with our theme to Connect, Learn, and Drive Change, your entries will showcase the innovation and results that characterize the winners in our industry. Every entry will help us to learn.

This year, the competition will focus on 5 key areas: DIgital Subscriber Growth, Digital Engagement & Retention, Social Media Marketing, Print Subscriber Growth, and Print Subscriber Retention.

Each entry must include the initiative’s objective, strategy and an explanation of the measurable results. Please include relevant PDF files, images or videos with your entry. One form per entry. All media professionals with print and/or digital products are encouraged to enter. Initiative must have been launched in calendar year 2018 (but does not need to be completed by December 31, 2018). Multiple entries are encouraged!

Compete for 1st to 3rd Place in each category.

Winners will be announced at the Great Western Audience Development Summit, June 19-21, at the Linq Hotel in Las Vegas. Entries will be shared during a Special Awards Presentation on Thursday June 20th.

Digital Subscriber Growth

Effectively monetizing your digital readers is becoming more important in our industry. What have you done to increase digital subscriptions? Include:

Digital Engagement & Retention

Interacting with readers through your website, social media and newsletters is important to build a connection and retain readership. What success have you had in engaging and retaining your digital readers? Include:

  • Other metrics contributing to success
  • Results (ROI, Views, Time Spent)

 

Social Media Marketing

Social media can be used to gain print/digital subscribers, increase engagement of current readers, general brand awareness and community partnerships. What have you done to take advantage of social media marketing? Include:

  • Other metrics contributing to success
  • Results (ROI, Likes, Shares)

Print Growth

Acquiring new print subscribers (including single copy) is more important than ever. What is your most successful effort to acquire new print subscribers/readers? Include:
